Using online credit cards
Wednesday August 6, 2008
Online credit cards require you to use them responsibly if you are to avoid debt and prevent yourself from being defrauded. You need to protect your details both from prying eyes as well as from online threats and malicious programs on your computer. Being sure to keep track of your online credit cards is also very important, as overspending can be easy when you can shop at a few clicks of a button.
Giving access to online credit cards to minors may not be the wisest idea. While emergency spending capability may seem like a good idea for a teenager, will you keep track of spending on your card enough to notice any unusual expenditure? If you cannot track this, then you also may be unable to track your online credit cards being defrauded by an individual who merely has your details. It is important to use online credit cards responsibly, or else you may find yourself in financial trouble in the future.
