Blame banks, stores for shopping splurge

In reply to Barry Gralton. The frenzy of spending after Christmas has nothing to do with which party did or didn't get in, or the unions. This has to do with banks and retail stores. Banks give people credit cards with unbelievable expenditure.

In regard to unions and WorkChoices, I am now employed as a casual with no penalty rates, no sick pay and no holiday pay. I am told I must have four weeks off at Christmas every year without pay. Labor is in for the next four years, so at least give them a chance to show us what they can do.
