Australians without credit cards will soon be able to buy things online with a digital wallet, Mastercard International said yesterday.
The technology, which should be available in Australia in the next month, will make online spending easier for hundreds of thousands of Australians.
Users would simply enter their personal details, including bank account numbers, into their secure ``digital wallet" on the computer.
They could then simply click on the digital wallet icon on their computer when they wished to make a purchase, avoiding filling out several forms.
